Dr. Shin has been doing thousands of implants from this perspective. Thus, he recognizes all variables necessary for success in implants and his patients are very happy with his service and care. Now, he is providing a relaxing and anxiety-free environment during treatment with IV sedation which has been certified by the BC College of Oral Health Professionals. He is also a clinical advisor of HiOssen Implant Canada. He is always endeavoring to find a breakthrough in dentistry to bring more comfort and less invasive therapy to patients, collaborating with related industries and some renowned universities.

In addition, Dr. Shin graciously shares his expertise by volunteering with those people who are less fortunate. He visits the Philippines once every year to provide free dental care. He recognizes his duty to repay global society for providing him with many opportunities: receiving higher education, and developing his professional reputation in multiple countries.
He is continuously getting state-of-the-art skills and knowledge in all phases of dentistry to provide the best care for patients. Dr. Shin is a member of the Canadian Dental Association and an organizer of the Maple Study Club, where his BC colleagues discuss in-depth knowledge and feasibility of comprehensive periodontics, prosthodontics, implantology, and orthodontics treatments.
